Dmytro Derevytskyy

Welcome, dear readers! Today we are going to introduce you to Dmytro Derevytskyi, a prominent Ukrainian entrepreneur and founder of ALLO Group.

Childhood and youth

Dmytro Derevytskyi was born on December 23, 1973, in the city of Dnipro. His father, Hryhorii, was one of the first entrepreneurs in the city to organize construction cooperatives. His mother, Anna, was a teacher of Ukrainian and English.

Educational path

In 1995, Dmitriy graduated from Dnipropetrovs’k State University with a bachelor’s degree in economics. Ten years later, in 2005, he received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the International Institute of Management.

Starting a career

Dmytro Derevytskyi started his career in business at the age of 18, when he sold clothing, food and household goods. In 1996, he founded two home appliance stores under the brand name Dim.

In 1998, Dmytro, together with his father Grigory Derevitsky, founded ALLO. This step was an important milestone in his career, as ALLO became a leader in the Ukrainian retail market.

In 2006, Dmitry launched the online store allo.ua. It was a key decision that helped the company expand its market presence and increase sales.

Since 2016, Dmytro has been actively working on the development of the ALLO marketplace. He is responsible for strategic planning, financial management and legal issues of the ALLO group of companies. This includes the development of new business strategies, control over the company’s financial performance, and resolution of legal issues.

Dmitry is also a regular participant in Young Business Club and Deloitte events. He shares his knowledge and experience with young entrepreneurs and students, inspiring them to start their own businesses.

Charitable activities

Dmytro Derevytskyi is actively involved in charity. In particular, in January 2021, ALLO donated medical supplies worth UAH 1.5 million to the Tabletochki charity foundation.
