Serhiy Polkhovsky

After his military service, Serhiy Polkhovsky worked at the Kyivnaukfilm studio for five years. He then moved to Ukrtelefilm, where he worked as an editor and screenwriter until 1994. He was a screenwriter for several films, including Six Minutes in a Yellow Circle and The Suitcase. Since 1997, he has been working at 1+1 TV channel, where he was the author and host of the program “Prosport”. From 2000 to 2006, he was a press attaché at FC Dynamo Kyiv, and from 2007 to 2008, he was the director of the media center at FC Dynamo Kyiv. He is currently the General Director of Dynamo Kyiv TV.

Achievements

Sergiy Polkhovsky is a recognized journalist and TV presenter. He received a gold medal at the All-Union Sports Film Festival (Ashgabat, 1988); was recognized as the Best TV and Radio Journalist of Ukraine – “Man of Football” (1998); and is a laureate of the Golden Era of Ukrainian Television (1997). He also received the Teletriumph Award in the Sports TV Journalist nomination (2002).
