Lesya Nikitiuk

Lesya Nikitiuk, a well-known personality in the world of television, journalism, acting and blogging in Ukraine, was born on October 19, 1987 in Khmelnytsky. She is 182 cm tall. Her parents, Ivan and Kateryna Nikitiuk, were employees of Ukrelectroaparat. After high school, Lesia received her higher education at the Khmelnytsky Humanitarian and Pedagogical Academy.

Professional path

While studying at the academy, Lesia was part of the KVN team Tornado Lux. Their performance “Halia, I’m in the bus” has gained over 6 million views on YouTube.

In 2009, Lesia and her friend Olga Panasenko formed the duo Malynky and participated in the comedy show “The Curlers Show” on TET. In 2011, they performed in the Ukrainian show “Make a Comedian Laugh” where they managed to win 10 thousand hryvnias for making comedians laugh. The following year, the duo took part in the show again and won the grand prize of 50 thousand hryvnias. In 2013, they attended the Russian version of the show and won 250 thousand rubles. The same year, they participated in the Ukrainian show for the third time and won 20 thousand hryvnias.

In 2012, Lesya became the host of the travel program “Heads and Tails”, where her co-host was Andriy Bednyakov. She participated in the filming of two seasons of the show – the fourth and fifth.

In 2013, K1 launched her own showbiz program, Lesya-Zdesya, where she attended social events, fashion shows, and talked about the life of the Ukrainian beau monde.

In 2015, Nikitiuk took part in the 10th and 11th seasons of Heads and Tails, where she was a co-host.

In the same year, Nikitiuk, together with Andriy Bednyakov, Regina Todorenko and Zhanna Badoeva, starred in Svitlana Loboda’s music video “It’s Time to Go Home.”

From November 4 to December 23, 2019, New Channel aired the travel show Le Route, hosted by Nikitiuk. In the show, she talks about the life and way of life of modern Ukrainians, as well as opens new places in Ukraine.

In December 2017, Lesya Nikitiuk announced that she was planning to marry her neighbor, but in 2019, she announced the wedding was canceled. After Russia launched a large-scale aggression against Ukraine, Lesya Nikitiuk created a series of parody songs (“The Power of the Bird,” “The Song of the Cruiser Moscow,” and – together with Stepan Giga – “This Dream”) that ridiculed the aggressor and quickly became popular on the Ukrainian Internet. In early March 2022, she organized a center for IDPs in Khmelnytskyi. Many fans online are searching for “Lesya Nikitiuk and her twin sister” after the TV presenter posted a photo on Instagram with a contestant wearing identical dresses. Lesya does not have a sister, but she does have a brother.
